THE FIRST TRANSFORMATION
By the time I was 21 I had figured it out. Hard work. Consistency. Nothing else. I was lean, I was confident, I felt like a different person.
WHAT HAPPENED IN BETWEEN
I moved to Los Angeles trying to build something. Then two car accidents — totaled cars, neither my fault. Money stress. No real routine. Depression crept in, anxiety crept in, and somewhere in between all of that I stopped moving and started ordering DoorDash and Uber Eats every single day. Then COVID hit and I didn't leave the house for months. I genuinely didn't notice how much things had changed until one day I looked in the mirror and barely recognized myself.
I can't even tell you exactly what triggered it. Honestly? I think I just wanted to look good again. For my girlfriend. For myself. For the way people looked at me when I walked into a room.
